A Quiet Lineage
I’m learning to slow down - “maybe I actually do want to move into the woods someday” kind of way.
To sit with the clay.
To let it push back a little.
To let each form find its own rhythm instead of forcing it into mine.
I’m drawn to making pieces that feel familiar, like something you’ve always had, even if you just found it. Shapes that feel lived with. Touched. Slightly imperfect in the way real things are.
A lot of my work is shaped by time spent in the garden, watching seasons shift, repainting a room for the third time, tending to small projects that keep me rooted. I love repetition. I love care. I love returning to the same simple task and noticing it feels different each time.
The Dutch Roots & Tulip Fields collection grew from that place. It’s inspired by the northern shores of Holland, where land and water sit in quiet conversation. I think about Delft Blue ceramics, old-world craft, and the generations of hands that worked slowly alongside wind, tulip fields, and sea — making objects meant to last.
Each piece is one of a kind. Made slowly. Made with care. Meant to become part of a home over time.
